VDOT Coach subscribers can add two types of coaches:
- Affiliated Coach: A coach within your coaching group who maintain their own athletes.
- Assistant Coach: A coach that helps you manage the same athletes.
- Admin – Coach can view your athletes and manage the account as you.
Both of these are distinct subscriptions and they can be paid for by the head coach. Monthly and annual pricing is available.
Affiliated Coach has their own athletes. This feature allows coaches to “Act As” the coach. Coaches will also take on your coaching logo unless they’ve identified their own. A common example in this use case is: I am a head coach, and I am responsible for all of the coaches within my coaching affiliation. In the event that a coach is not present to provide training, the head coach can “Act As” to provide training or make any changes that the coach would be able to do. You can invite the same athletes as one of your affiliated coaches thus giving the athlete more than one coach.
An Assistant Coach can help you manage training/templates or communication with you. Coaches will have their own name/image when communicating with the athletes. Assistant coaches share the same athletes with this subscription.
Admin Coach: With this option, the coach that you provide this access to will be able to view your athletes and “Act as” you by being able to temporarily “Hijack” your account and make changes as yourself.
